About Marybeth

A Career Built on Caring

Marybeth Van Horn has been caring for people since 1973. Over fifty years ago, she walked into critical care units at some of Chicago’s most demanding hospitals and learned what it means to show up for someone in their most vulnerable moments. After moving to Denver in 1978, she continued that work at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Swedish Medical Center, among other hospitals, as an on-call nurse — building the kind of clinical foundation that never leaves you.

Reinvention, More Than Once

Life, as it has a way of doing, asked her to reinvent herself — more than once. From a young woman who completed a 500-mile bicycle trip, to single mother, home daycare owner, mother of three, Paralegal Nurse Consultant, independent contractor, and ultimately Director of National Rehabilitation Consultants — where she built systems, managed teams, and created marketing strategies from the ground up. She did it all.

The Chapter That Changed Everything

The turning point came in 1999, when the Columbine tragedy unfolded in her own neighborhood. The weight of it settled into her body and her spirit — her weight gain in direct proportion to her stress. That fall, she made a decision to show up for herself the way she had always shown up for others. After two years of hard work, she transformed her life completely — a journey so remarkable that her story was featured in Episode 1 of the “I Lost It” series on the Discovery Channel. That experience inspired her to become a certified personal trainer, so she could offer that same gift to others.

Still Nursing. Still Growing.

That thread — of being changed by care and then turning around to offer it — runs through everything Marybeth does. Because healing never stops being personal, she remains an active registered nurse today, offering skilled home care through Eagletail Health Care and seeing clients in her private practice at Integrated Health Littleton. Meanwhile, Integrated Health has grown into a five-treatment-room practice in her own neighborhood, opening in its current form just seven months ago.

Welcome to Integrated Health Littleton

With over fifty years of experience, Marybeth has lived the full arc: the critical care floors, the single-parent years, the boardroom, the grief, and the transformation. She understands what it means to need help — and what it means to find it. Whatever brings you through her office doors, there is something here for you.

As Marybeth puts it: “I care deeply about the people and patients who seek my assistance and engage in the process. No matter their journey, there is something for everyone through Integrated Health Littleton. I truly believe this.”
